Richard Sams

Chief Executive Officer

Rich has built over 100 products over the last 10 years across highly complex industries.

Richard brings decades of experience building technology for startups to his leadership of MOHARA. He is also a board adviser and mentor to multiple startups and Entrepreneurial Support Organisations including the New Entrepreneurs Foundation.

Ben Blomerley

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Ben worked for EY, focusing on retail banking for over 8 years, before jumping into entrepreneurship.

Ben’s role as MOHARA’s COO is delivering our vision for Production – innovation in product but efficiency in delivery. He is a chartered accountant and brings vast experience in building great products. He is an Entrepreneur in Residence at his MBA alma mater, INSEAD.

Nick Solly

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Nick drives engineering excellence in the development of new technology products we build at MOHARA. Nick has recently been working on leading AI technology in the USA within the Health Tech space.

Craig Jamieson

Chief Design Officer

Craig has over 25 years design experience, building digital products and leading within a variety of organisations, from international agencies to in-house teams and has pioneered integration between business, design and engineering within the fintech, medtech industries as well as many large global brands.

Jackie LaRocca

Jackie supports ongoing production builds with clients from our hub in Toronto. Jackie comes from an innovation consulting background and specialises in new product development. She has led global innovation portfolio programs for large corporates across multiple geographies and excels at building teams remotely.

SOUTH EAST ASIA MANAGING DIRECTOR

With over 8 years in tech leadership and a background in computer engineering, Prisha excels in merging technology and talent. She passionately heads our People and Talent department, crucial in building an innovative culture.

Louis Botes

VP OF ENGINEERING (SA MANAGING PARTNER)

With over two decades as a software engineer spanning diverse industries, Louis is our VP of Engineering.

Passionate about both InfoSec and empowering software engineers, he ensures our products are secure and our teams thrive, driving innovation and excellence.

Leo Thesen

management engineer (SA MANAGING PARTNER)

Based in Cape Town, Leo is a software engineer at MOHARA with an Electro-Mechanical Engineering background.

As a Certified AWS Solutions Architect, he has designed solutions for various startups and leads the solution architecture function of MOHARA. Leo co-manages the South African hub of MOHARA, overseeing more than fifty employees.

Robert Cubbage

After finishing a career just short of 30 years at Earnst and Young’s London office as a Partner in 2017, Robert took on the role of Chairman of MOHARA. In addition, he holds roles as an Audit and Risk Committee Member and Treasurer at the Bedrock Trust and the RSPB respectively. Robert read economics and obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Manchester.
